LOVELAND PASS, Colo. — Wild spring weather has created dangerous conditions throughout the state. All of the wet weather has dumped plenty of snow in the high country this month.

It snowed on Loveland Pass on Wednesday night. Earlier, an avalanche closed U.S. 6, and the avalanche danger is rising because of the large amount of snow that has fallen.
