DENVER — Temperatures plunged late Thursday night as an Arctic air mass descended on Colorado after a day that saw high temperatures in the 50s.
Cold drizzle and light snow started falling in metro Denver before 9 p.m.
Ice formed on the roads under the small dusting of snow that fell early Friday morning.
Denver snow plow crews will be on duty overnight to address trouble spots & snow accumulation on main streets, or most streets w/stripes.
