DENVER — Another storm system continues to move across Colorado Tuesday and snowfall may impact your commute in metro Denver.
The mountains will see accumulating snow and several inches may fall which is great for areas ski resorts.
However, roads through the mountains could become slick making travel very slow. There are WINTER STORM WARNINGS & WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES posted for the heavy mountain snow.

Temperatures with this storm system are not as cold as the last one. So, while we don’t anticipate frozen highways there will still be some slick spots.
Accumulation looks to be around an inch in many parts of the metro area. A few areas south and east of downtown could see 2-3″.
The snow will quickly end and sunshine will return during the afternoon. It will be much cooler and there will be a strong north wind.
Thanksgiving: There will be another round of mountain snow with lots of wind on Wednesday for holiday travelers. It stays dry, but cool and windy in Denver and across the Front Range with readings in the cool 40s.
