DENVER — Rain showers are still possible in Denver until after 8 p.m. Tuesday. There could be a snowflake or two across the metro area late this evening mixing with the showers.
It will stay cloudy and chilly overnight with fog and patchy drizzle.
A Flood Warning was in effect for the South Platte River around Henderson in Adams County until Wednesday morning. Minor flooding was expected.
Water was running fast and high all over the region. The Evergreen fire chief urged people to stay away from the high water in his community. Even Confluence Park in downtown Denver had high, rough water Tuesday night.
More showers are possible again each afternoon and early evening right through Memorial Day in metro Denver.
There will be some sunshine at times mainly early each day. However, temperatures will stay cool with readings in the 60s…we should be in the 70s. It does look like a shift in our weather pattern arrives next week with dry and warmer days to finally enjoy!
