DENVER (KDVR) — Don’t put away your snow shovel, another round of snow has arrived in Colorado.

The Pinpoint Weather Team has issued Pinpoint Weather Alert Days for Wednesday and Thursday.

Here are 5 things you need to know about this storm system:

  1. Snow started Wednesday morning and will pick up in intensity during the evening commute
  2. Snow will continue until Thursday morning
  3. Denver will get 2-3 inches of total snowfall
  4. This storm system is colder and will drop highs into the teens on Thursday
  5. Lows Thursday night could fall to around zero degrees

Here’s a look at our accumulation forecast of expected snowfall by noon Thursday:

  • Denver: 2-3 inches
  • Fort Collins: 2-3 inches
  • Palmer Divide: 2-3 inches
  • Eastern Plains: 1-4 inches
  • Foothills: 3-6 inches
  • Mountains: 4-10 inches
  • Ski areas: 5-12 inches
