“In case you didn’t know, jumping from a TV tower is not only incredibly dangerous, but it is trespassing,” the sheriff’s office stated.
The Denver Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is warning people about the new scam after receiving reports about the text messages, DOTI communications director Nancy Kuhn said in an email. The text has Denver’s logo on it and claims to be from “City of Denver.”
The governor, a Democrat, is representing the National Governors Association as chair of the organization and said in an emailed statement he will work to make the voice of states and governors heard in Washington.
