The Sundance Film Festival is moving to Boulder and with it comes tens of thousands of visitors. Kasia Kerridge spoke with locals on how the city needs to prepare for the crowds.

A structure fire was quenched on Pearl Street in Boulder on Monday evening.

Proposition KK was passed by voters in November with 54.4% of voters affirming the tax, or about 1.68 million voters. The tax revenue would be allocated to school security and mental health services for veterans, domestic and other violence victims and at-risk youth.

On Monday, AJ Capital Partners announced it had acquired the hotel and entered into a partnership with longtime owners Frank and Gina Day. There was not a discussion on finances attached to the deal.

The spokesperson said no one broke into the building. Police are checking for cameras in the area that may have caught the incident.

Cooper Jo Frederick, 24, was previously arrested for the incident on March 14. Frederick was charged under state code with two counts of possessing an incendiary device and one count each of manufacturing an incendiary device, criminal mischief in the amount of $5,000 to $20,000, and use of an incendiary device in a felony.
