DENVER — The Denver Nuggets’ search for a new head coach is underway and another big name is now on the market. The Oklahoma City Thunder fired head coach Scott Brooks Wednesday.

Brooks is no stranger to Denver. He was an assistant coach under George Karl from 2003-06.

Brooks’ teams also play the up-tempo style the Nuggets are looking for.

Denver is reportedly also interested in former NBA coach Mike D’Antoni, Warriors assistant coach Alvin Gentry and University of Florida Coach Billy Donovan.
