CINCINNATI — Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay scored a 65-yard touchdown run in the third quarter against the Bengals on Sunday.

It was his second touchdown of the day and extended the Broncos lead to 21-3 at the time. The Broncos would go on to win the game 24-10 to give Denver their third straight victory.

The touchdown was Lindsay’s second 50+ yard touchdown this season, tying for third most in the NFL among all players this season. The 65-yarder was Lindsay’s longest touchdown run of his career.

Lindsay finished the game with 19 carries for 157 yards and two touchdowns.

Lindsay made more Broncos and NFL history on Sunday.

He became just the fourth undrafted rookie since 1970 to record at least 1,000+ scrimmage yards in a single season.
