Fans already looking to travel to Super Bowl

DENVER –There’s no guarantee that the Denver Broncos will have the chance to play in Super Bowl XLIX, but already there are plenty of travel options.

Denver Broncos are in the AFC Playoffs, but still have a ways to go to begin putting the Super Bowl front and center. Fans on the other hand are ready to buy SB tickets right now!

The game, which is set to be played in Phoenix on Feb. 1, 2015 will bring in a huge national television audience but plenty of fans will want to be in the University of Phoenix stadium.

“Two people sharing a room … you’re looking at $4,500 a person,” said Glen Bynum of Texas based Golden Sports Tours.

Bynum said they’re not seeing many fans booking tickets but instead it’s corporate sponsors who are gearing up for the game no matter which teams end up competing.

“The people who usually book in advance are your corporate type customer and they’re going no matter who’s in it,” Bynum said. “They’re not a fan of any team.”

“We are from Denver living in Houston,” said Mike Masden. “I brought the kids to the stadium to pick up some Bronco gear to take home and get ready for the Super Bowl run.”

The travel packages vary greatly depending on the type of hotel and type of seats a customer is looking for.

At A-Lewis Ticket Brokers in Glendale, there is much interest in tickets for the Lombardi Game, but another is also on the minds or Bronco fans.

“The demand for Oakland Raider tickets is huge,” said Candy Lewis. “Many wanting Raider tickets because in some way if we win the big one with Peyton Manning, he could do the Elway-walk-away, meaning this could be his last regular season home game with the black and silver.”

Another option folks should think about is, going to the Pro Bowl, which like the Super Bowl is being held in Phoenix the Sunday before SB49.

Tickets from $20 to $50 for the game, take part in the NFL experience week, and Spirit Air has $25 flights one-way and motel rooms about $50 as well.

If you tell tall tales, you can kind of say you were at the Super Bowl, as the game will be held in the same stadium – just a week early!
