Denver Broncos trim to final roster; shed Duke Ihenacho and Kevin Vickerson

DENVER — Strong safety Duke Ihenacho and defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson were among the players cut by the Denver Broncos Saturday as the team trimmed down to its final 53-man roster.

The team shed 20 players in total. In addition to the 20 who were released or waived by the club, rookie defensive end Kenny Anunike was placed on injured reserve and kicker Matt Prater was designated as reserve/suspended.

The team may establish a practice squad of up to 10 players beginning Sunday.
