DENVER (KDVR) — Before Tuesday’s Major League Baseball All-Star Game, the participants walked the Red Carpet.

Because the game was in Colorado, though, the color of carpet was purple.

Most of the stars showed up, with the loudest cheers for Fernando Tatis, Jr. and former Colorado Rockies player, Nolan Arrenado.

“It feels great to be back in Colorado,” says the third baseman.

Arrenado was traded to the St. Louis Cardinals in the off-season.

“I’m so very thankful they’re (fans) appreciative of what I did,” adds Arrenado. “Because I did it for them.”

The Red Carpet Walk was from McGregor Square to Coors Field.

The American League won the game: 5-2.
