WELD COUNTY, Colo. — Strong storms developed in northeastern Colorado Thursday evening.

FOX31 Denver viewers sent in dozens of pictures of a funnel cloud that captured a lot of attention near Fort Lupton.

The Weld County Sheriff’s Office said the funnel did touchdown east of Fort Lupton. The tornado was on the ground for less than one minute near Highway 52 and Weld County Road 29.5. No damage was reported.
