BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. — As the Cold Springs Fire near Nederland reached 80 percent containment Wednesday, the first up-close views of the damage were obtained.
Hundreds of people were evacuated from the area and eight homes were destroyed. Officials hope to reach 100 percent containment by Thursday night and let everyone back to their homes.
