Kid’s activities include the Bike, Trike and Wheelchair/ Patriotic Pooch parades at 8:30 a.m. in the northwest corner of the lake and “Playful City USA” water activities on the Southwest side of the lake from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Adults can enjoy the car show from 10 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. between city hall and the Northglenn recreation center, and city booths on the southwest side of the lake for residents interested in voting, passports, storm drainage, recycling and water conservation. In the evening, there will be live music by Chris Daniels and the Kings at 6:30 p.m. and military recognition at 7:30 p.m. Food options include a Boy Scouts pancake breakfast at 7 a.m. at the Ponderosa/ Blue Spruce Pavilions, a senior bake sale starting at 8 a.m. on the west side of the lake, and the Firecrackers and Flapjacks Run at 7:30 a.m. on the southeast side of the lake.
