Three Colorado schools have made the U.S. News World Report 2017 Best Colleges Ranking.
Colorado School of Mines ranks #82, while University of Denver comes in at #86, and University of Colorado Boulder made #92 on the list of Best National Colleges.
The annual survey assesses more than 18,000 U.S. colleges and universities, of which 1,374 are ranked. Schools receive rankings based on several measures of academic quality, including graduation rate performance, faculty resources, and financial resources.
Princeton University topped the list at #1, followed closely by Harvard University. University of Chicago and Yale University tied for third place.
The report ranks schools into several different categories as well, including National Liberal Arts Colleges, Regional Universities, and Historically Black Colleges.
