Have you ever tackled a 100-thousand dollar project?  It sounds daunting for most adults, but it was no problem for some of Colorado’s Best Kids, who wrote and won a grant to get 100-thousand dollars worth of solar panels installed at their school, Mackintosh Academy.  7th graders, Sydney Gelman, Skyler Bernard, Delia Guilbert, Nicholas Booth, along with Joe Pausback, the lead teacher for 5th and 6th graders, tell us how their project is reducing their school’s carbon footprint on the planet, and saving enough money to start a scholarship program.
