MIDLOTHIAN, Va. — An Air Force Academy Cadet who suffered a heart attack when she was 19-years-old in Virginia was released from the hospital Wednesday.
She had the heart attack while working out at a gym on March 23, KRDO reported.
Hailey Lane, now age 20, will continue her recovery at her home in Virginia.
Supporters around the world have given shout outs to Hailey through the hashtag #WeAreHaileyStrong on social media, according to KRDO.
Doctors are still trying to figure out what caused Hailey’s heart attack and if it may be genetic.
