WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. — A little boy named Mason from Wheat Ridge had a special wish for his third birthday this year.
He didn’t want any presents, all he wanted was to meet the police, the WheatRidge Police Department wrote on Saturday.
Mason’s parents called the Police Department and on Saturday Mason got a big birthday surprise.
Sgt. Lima and Officer Berkowitz pulled up to his house just to wish him a happy birthday.
When Mason saw them, his eyes lit up officers said.
Mason even got to sit in a real police patrol car in his own police uniform.
Pictures and a personal birthday wish were posted on their Facebook page.
It said, “From all of us at WRPD, we’d like to wish Mason a very happy birthday!”
