WELD COUNTY, Colo. — Many roads in Weld County took a beating after Saturday’s storm.

The county closed roads after the South Platte River went over its banks.

It was running at 11 feet, 18 inches on Sunday, which was above the flood stage.

The raging waters even took out part of a bridge.
