Water World to hire over 1,000 new employees for summer

DENVER — Haven’t found that summer job yet? Look no further.

Denver’s Hyland Hills Water World is looking to hire over 1,000 people for the upcoming summer.

Job openings include positions as cashier, food service, gift shop, grounds, lifeguard, and park service teams.

“For many, this is their first job and we are dedicated to providing a meaningful work experience for the kids that make the team,” Water World Spokesperson, Joann Cortéz said.

Most positions are hiring applicants starting at age 15, but there will be a few positions that are open to 14-year-old applicants.

Water World lifeguards must be certified through National Aquatics Safety Company or take classes held on site for people who are not certified yet.

Water World plans to conduct interviews at the beginning of March and complete hiring in the middle of April,  Cortéz said.

Detailed information on available positions, rates of pay, age minimums, application and more can be found on the Water World website.
