AURORA, Colo. — An Aurora pizza restaurant is still standing after a car plowed through its front windows on Wednesday and left one woman stunned after being hit by the vehicle.
The accident happened at Pudge Brothers Pizza, near 6th Avenue and Dayton Street, around 5 p.m. on Wednesday. Witnesses reported seeing the driver accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake and also accidentally plowing into a woman who was walking nearby.
The woman who was hit was not seriously hurt. The restaurant was able to cleanup the majority of broken glass and damage by Wednesday evening.
Aurora Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
