DENVER — A Denver woman is following her dream of owning her own business by expanding a company she acquired geared towards babies.

The Boulder Baby Company sells shampoos, conditioners and lotions. Most of the ingredients in the products are from Colorado and all are completely healthy.

“Ours [products] differ because of what we don’t put in it. We have created the cleanest products we can possibly create,” said Audrey Mendez, the company’s owner.

The products are vegan and don’t include any artificial fragrances or dyes. While they’re made for babies and young children, they also work well with adults.

“[They’re] designed obviously with babies in mind, but obviously we’d like it to be a product the whole family can use,” Mendez said.

You can purchase the Boulder Baby Company’s products online by visiting their website. If you live in Colorado, you can also find them on sale at the following stores:

-Whole Foods Market BelMar:  444 S Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, CO 80226

-Whole Foods Market Cheery Creek:  2375 E 1st Ave, Denver, CO 80206

-Whole Foods Market Longmont:  1250 South Hover Road, Suite 300, Longmont, CO 80501

-Second Star To the Right Bookstore: 4353 Tennyson St., Denver, CO 80212

-McGuckins Hardware Boulder:  The Village Shopping Center, 2525 Arapahoe Ave, Boulder, CO 80302

According to Mendez, when you order products from the company’s website, a portion of the credit card fees goes toward charity. That charity is the Native American Heritage Association, which provides children with food and clothing.
