ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. — The pilot of an ultralight airplane was injured while flying over some hunters near Byers on Tuesday night, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office said.
The pilot was flying over the hunters in the area of 64th Avenue and Calhoun Byers Road in unincorporated Adams County.
The pilot had minor injuries, and was treated and released on the scene.
“The hunters were legally hunting on private property. It has not been determined how the pilot was injured. This is an ongoing investigation and no further details can be released at this time,” the sheriff’s office said in a news release said.
