After debuting at San Diego Comic-Con, and being leaked online in poor quality, Warner Bros. has released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming “Suicide Squad.”

The three-minute clip sets up the idea behind the story, that a group of supervillains are being put together to carry out missions the government wants to have complete deniability about. It also gives the first real look at The Joker (Jared Leto) in action.

“I’m not gonna kill you,” he says while hovering over a victim. “I’m just gonna hurt you really, really bad.”

While most members of the Suicide Squad get their moment to shine in the trailer, the real focus seems to be on Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie). She’s seen in many different forms, from hanging upside down in her jail cell, to her costumed look, complete with a “Daddy’s Little Monster” shirt.

The trailer also confirms the presence of Batman in the movie, which was first spoiled when fan videos from the set appeared online.

“Suicide Squad” hits theaters on Aug. 5, 2016.
