DENVER —  A RoadSnacks.net study ranked the worst and best cities to live in Colorado.

Cities were ranked on population, crime, unemployment rate, household income and average home value.

The company also said it used data from the government census, Bureau of Labor Statistics, FBI crime data and Sperling’s Best Places.

Based on this criteria, the top 10 worst places to live in Colorado are:

9. La Junta

8. Cortez

7. Stratmoor

6. Grand Junction

5. Trinidad

4. Montrose

3. Alamosa

2. Delta

1. Pueblo

RoadSnacks.net cited the following statistics for why Pueblo ranked as the worst city to live in in Colorado.

Population: 106,944

Crime:  Third highest in Colorado for cities with a population of more than 5,000

Unemployment rate:  9.2 percent

Household income:  $35,176

Average home value:  $105,000

The website used the same criteria to determine the best cities to live in in Colorado.

On a scale of 1 to 101, with the lower numbers meaning worse scores, other Colorado cities to be ranked were: Aurora (23), Denver (45), Lakewood (49), Golden (64), Westminster (70), Castle Rock (79) and Boulder (89).
