Trader Joe’s to open new store in Littleton in 2016

LITTLETON, Colo. — A Trader Joe’s store will open in Littleton early in 2016, the California-based grocery store chain announced Wednesday.

The 13,000-square-foot store will be located inside the Bowles Crossing Shopping Center at 8055-3 W. Bowles Ave., across from Southwest Plaza. It will open some time between January and March, according to Trader Joe’s.

This will be the first Trader Joe’s in Littleton. It joins two locations in Denver, one in Greenwood Village, one in Boulder, one in Colorado Springs and one in Fort Collins as the seventh store to open in Colorado.

The Hawaiian-themed grocery store chain says it offers a unique, extensive array of domestic and imported groceries at prices everyone can afford.

The Littleton store will not feature Trader Joe’s popular wine, beer and liquor shop because of Colorado liquor law. No other Trader Joe’s besides the one at Eighth Avenue and Colorado Boulevard is allowed to sell alcohol.
