LONE TREE, Colo. — Deputies investigated a suspicious package Monday, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said.
The package was reported at South Quebec Street and Wildcat Ridge just after noon.
Authorities said a backpack was found and it appeared to have batteries or wires in it.
The bomb squad was called to the scene, but the package posed no threat to the public.
Suspicious backpack contained batteries similar to types for toy cars. No danger to public and all roads open. #dcbombteam
