FRISCO, Colo. — Authorities are looking for a “stink bomb” suspect who might be a repeat offender, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday.
An older white man was seen in surveillance footage on Sept. 17 throwing a plastic bottle filled with an unknown liquid onto the patio of Tucker’s Tavern at 760 Copper Road, the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies said it was the sixth reported incident over the past three years. The bottles contained “an unknown putrid smelling liquid.” A similar looking man has previously thrown “stink bombs” onto the patio of the tavern.
The man is seen in surveillance video, wearing a light-colored baseball-style cap, a blue or green jacket and tan pants.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Summit County Sheriff’s Office at 970-423-8940 or at robertp@summitcountyco.gov.
