DENVER — Just four months after helping to engineer the Colorado GOP’s first big statewide victory in 12 years, Chairman Ryan Call is out of a job.

Steve House was elected over Call by more than 400 Republican delegates at the party’s annual meeting  in Douglas County by the Republican State Central Committee.

Call, who was seeking a third term, was ousted as a result of frustration from both the grassroots and establishment sides of the party.

Additionally Derrick Wilburn from Colorado Springs was elected vice chairman and Brandi Meek from Moffat County was elected as secretary.

Steve House worked in  healthcare for more than 30 years as an engineer, sales leader, executive, and consultant with Phillips Medical Systems, GE Healthcare, Cardinal Health, Aetna and Orchestrate Healthcare, according to Burtt.

House earned an Associate’s Degree in Electronic Technology from the Ohio Institute of Technology. Then later graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Phoenix.

“There is a lot of enthusiasm among Republican to ensure America’s future,” said Steve House. “It’s an exciting time to be working in politics because so much rides on our collective efforts.”
