JACKSON COUNTY, Colo. — The evacuation order for residents and property owners displaced by the Beaver Creek Fire has been lifted, officials said Saturday.
The orders were lifted at 6:00 a.m. Saturday by the Jackson County Sheriff. To return, residents and property owners must obtain an entry placard from the Jackson County Sheriff’s office, officials said.
However, closures on National Forest and Bureau of Land Management Lands will remain in effect.

The Beaver Creek Fire started in June and is now burned 36,917 acres and is 53% contained, as of Saturday morning.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
