GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. — A standoff between a suspect and police this summer in a Greenwood Village neighborhood lasted for 19 hours. And in the end, the home where it took place was left in ruins.
Police used gunfire and explosives to flush out the suspect.
An independent report just released about the standoff says police followed proper procedure.
But what remains of the house has become an eyesore during the past five months and the owner is still fighting with the insurer about getting money to rebuild.
Dave Young has more information in his video report.
