ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — After watching Englewood resident Lucy Lindsey’s story on FOX31, Robert Lucero gassed up his chain saws and gave us a call.  He owns Colorado Land and Tree.

Lucero and a four man crew arrived first thing in the morning.  He just had to help. “If it were my grandmother I would want somebody to come and help out.  Didn’t seem like she had too many people out here to work with that so I thought we would just see what we can do for her.”

It took less than fifteen seconds for mother nature to topple the tree, but it will take a couple of days to chop it up and haul it out.

That job would normally cost around $4,500.  But not this time, thanks to Colorado Land and Tree.

This has not gone unnoticed by Lucy Lindsey. “It’s going to be a blessing.  A very very extra special blessing and I do thank everybody that’s been involved.”

Once the tree is gone, Lucy Lindsey still has one more problem, the damage to her home.  FOX31 Problem Solvers will remain by Lucy’s side, and hope to get her back home for the holidays. “In my house for the holidays?” she asked, “that would be a blessing.”
