DENVER — Election Day is Nov. 8. In Colorado, 2016 is the first presidential election year with all vote by mail ballots.
Registering to Vote
You must register by Oct. 31 to get a ballot by mail. After that date you’ll need to get your ballot in person. Check your ballot status here.
Online: You can register to vote on the Colorado secretary of state’s website
By mail: You can print this PDF and mail it in to your county office. Find addresses by clicking on your county on the list at the bottom of the page.

Voting
All ballots must be revived by 7 p.m. on Nov. 8 (postmarks don’t count for mail-in ballots).
By mail: Ballots will be mailed to registered voters starting Oct. 17. You can follow the instructions and mail in your ballot, but it must be received by 7 p.m. on Nov. 8 (postmarks don’t count).
Drop off: You can take the ballot you receive in the mail and drop it off in person at a location in your county. You can also get in-person help. Find locations by clicking on your county on the list at the bottom of the page.
In person: Vote in person on Election Day. Find your polling location on the secretary of state’s website.
