Trump campaign to ramp up Colorado appearances

DENVER — As the November election gets closer, Republican nominee Donald Trump is ramping up his campaign in Colorado.

Although Trump himself won’t be in the state, his children and running mate will be covering the state.

The latest poll shows Trump gaining ground in Colorado, but the the vast majority of previous polls had Hillary Clinton ahead in the Centennial State.

The Trump campaign is oping it’s gaining momentum. Colorado has become a swing state in previous years and it’s clear that by Thursday’s appearances, the campaign is pulling out all the stops.

Trump’s daughter Ivanka will be in Denver on Thursday morning for a fundraiser then will be in Fort Collins for a private event to tour Liberty Common Charter School.

Later Thursday, Donald Trump Jr. will be in Grand Junction to speak about wildlife conservation at the Mesa County Fairground.

Trump’s running mate Mike Pence will hold a town hall meeting on Thursday afternoon in Colorado Springs.
