DENVER — During his inaugural address last Tuesday and the annual State of the State address two days later, Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper laid down a number of priorities for his second term.

Among them: extending the state’s economic recovery to parts of the state where unemployment remains high, increasing investments in education, finding creative solutions to initiate infrastructure improvements to add capacity on Interstates 70 and 25 and untangling the Gordian knot of constitutional amendments that continue to choke off revenues and demand spending increases.

Following his State of the State address Thursday, Hickenlooper sat down with #COpolitics: From The Source for an in-depth interview about how he plans to solve those intractable problems.
