DENVER — Colorado  will host a debate among Republican presidential candidates this October.

The announcement came Friday during the Republican National Committee’s winter meeting in San Diego.

There will be a total of nine Republican presidential debates leading up to primary elections.

The debate in Colorado will focus on economic issues.

No specific location or date in October has been announced yet.
