BOULDER, Colo. — For the 32nd year in a row, people who could be described as either very brave or very silly, will take a plunge into Boulder Reservoir.
The Polar Plunge happens every New Year’s Day at the reservoir beginning at 11 a.m.
Online registration is open for the event, which costs $25 for adults and $20 for children under 12.
The website allows friends and family to pledge on behalf of plungers. The money goes to the Boulder County AIDS Project.
