DENVER — Thousands of carnations were brought to Denver Police Plaza for the day-long pro-police celebration at the Fallen Officer Memorial at 13th and Cherokee Wednesday.
People stopped at the memorial all day to offer their support after a demonstration over the weekend which left the Fallen Officers Monument covered in red paint.
Denver Police Chief Robert White also paid respects along with Mayor Michael Hancock and his cabinet.
