GOLDEN, Colo. — A paraglider died after he crashed late Friday afternoon on a hillside in Golden.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says there were multiple witnesses to the crash. The victim hit the ground just below the iconic “M” on for the Colorado School of Mines on Mt. Zion.
The area is popular among paragliders.
The investigation into what happened was just getting underway Friday evening.
