ANAHEIM, Calif. — A fire at Disneyland forced the park to close down the iconic “It’s a Small World” attraction late Saturday.

The small blaze broke out about 9:19 p.m. in a backstage area, KTLA reported. A tree eventually became engulfed in flames, creating smoke and flames that many visitors were able to see.

The fire was knocked down about 30 minutes later. No injuries were reported, and the ride itself did not appear to be damaged, according to police. However, “It’s a Small World” was closed while firefighters investigated.

Investigators said fireworks may have played a part in the fire.
