Newspapers around the world react to Charlie Hebdo attack

PARIS – The attack at the office of satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo in Paris left 10 journalists and two police officers dead.

The magazine is known for its controversial depictions of the Prophet Muhammad, whose image cannot be visually represented in some forms of Islam.

Many publications ignored the request to not run the cartoons, and newspapers in the U.S. and around the world reacted to the killings with front pages Thursday morning.
