DENVER — It’s not just the season for shopping, it’s the season for giving, too.
The Better Business Bureau is hoping to help make giving donations easier. The organization putting out the word about its “wise giving” campaign, which helps highlight the most efficient and ethical charities by looking deep into how they are run.
The BBB looks at … “How many board members they have, how many board meetings, what’s on their website, how much disclosure they have, how are they spending their funds? We go through a lot of documentation,” says Adriana Carmona of the BBB.
The BBB wants to make sure you have the resources you need to help make you more comfortable with your charitable donations.
