CENTENNIAL, Colo. — You would think when talking about super-hot ZIP codes, 90210 would be atop the list. But that’s not the case this month as the ZIP of the month is 80122, in Centennial.
The area seeing the most action inside the ZIP code is the Heritage Greens neighborhood.
“We actually purchased our home before it went on the market,” said Molly Urso, who has no regrets about buying into this hotter than hot ZIP code.
“We were very fortunate to find it and get into this neighborhood without much of a fight, there’s a lot of demand. Houses sell very quickly in here.”
Most consider themselves very lucky to even get a chance to buy in as homes barely stay on the market 20 days before being sold.
“I think it’s amazing. It’s a great place to live. We’ve lived here since 1992. All our kids grew up here and went to Littleton Schools and all are self- sucifficent young adults now so it’s been a great place to live and grow up,” said Amy Eigner, another homeowner.
Anne Dresser-Kocur is the neighborhood realtor. She sells Heritage Greens. This year she has made 63 sales, 16 in the Greens.
“People that live here love it. In fact probably 50 people have moved from one house to another in the neighborhood. They won’t leave once they’ve lived here,” said Dresser-Kocur.
Homewoner Cathy Miller gets the final say on 80122. “It’s a very friendly community. People say hello to you. You know most people by their dogs. You know it’s really, great.”
