Cyber Monday 2015: Here are some of today’s best deals

It is officially Cyber Monday.

The National Retail Federation says 121 million shoppers plan to shop for bargains online today.

But according to retail sales, Cyber Monday may have actually started on Friday.

In-store sales for Black Friday were down this year because more people did virtual shopping.

Stores like Walmart, JC Penney and Best Buy kicked off their cyber sales early — on Sunday.

This year marks 10 years since the first Cyber Monday.

Best Buy 

Best Buy launched a week’s worth of cyber sales on Sunday.

The company posted its plans for Cyber Monday. And like many other retailers, it’s planning more than just one day of deals.

More and more, holiday shopping is done online. So it makes sense for retailers to ramp up — and stretch out — the hype over digital promotions.

Starting Sunday and continuing through Dec. 5, BestBuy.com is offering a fresh round of discounts daily.

On the actual Cyber Monday, the site will post more than 50 one-day sales.

Best Buy is also offering free shipping and in-store pickup.

To help promote its sales events, the company also launched an “enhanced” mobile app that has live chat assistance.

Target if offering 15 percent off sitewide today with the promo code: CYBER15.

This is the first time Target has discounted everything on its website for Cyber Monday.
