DENVER — The Denver District Attorney’s Office formally charged a man who is accused of sexually assaulting a woman he met through a smartphone dating app.
The office announced Monday that Darren Auger, 27, is charged with sexual assault. The charge alleges Auger met the victim for a dinner date through the app Tinder on June 9 and later assaulted her.
The suspect is in custody in Denver jail on $50,000 bond. His first court appearance is scheduled Wednesday morning.
