ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. — An Aurora man accused of housing gay runaways in exchange for sex faces more charges after prosecutors said they found a new underage victim.

Sean Crumpler now faces 16 charges, including knowingly exposing someone to HIV.

His attorneys asked a judge to dismiss some of the counts at Tuesday’s preliminary hearing, but the judge refused the request.

Investigators said the 49-year-old is HIV positive and never used protection even though witnesses told police that orgies were common at his rental house in Aurora.

Detectives believe about a dozen men ages 16 to 21 were living at the house, getting alcohol, drugs, iPhones and clothes in exchange for sex.

Crumpler was free on bond Tuesday night.
