DENVER — 48th Avenue is closed in north Denver due to a water main break.
A sinkhole has formed in the road.
The affected area is between Milwaukee and St. Paul Streets.
Crews are on the scene and working to shut off water flowing to the break.
As of 10:30 a.m., 48th Avenue was still closed. Crews estimated the water main would be repaired by approximately 3 p.m.
The break did not cause any customers to be without water.
