DENVER (KDVR) – The Denver Fire Department and Denver International Airport dedicated a 9/11 memorial at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
The ceremony, which includes placing wreaths at the site, was held at Fire House 35 – 25365 E. 75th Ave.
The permanent installation made of steel from the World Trade Center steel is dedicated to the victims of 9/11 and first responders.
Speakers included DIA CEO Phil Washington and Denver Fire Chief Fulton.
