JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a runaway teen who stole her parent’s car. The below story has been updated to remove identifying details.
Update 4:07 p.m.: Both teens have been located along with the stolen vehicle.
According to the sheriff’s office, a 13-year-old stole her parent’s Kia Sorento from their home in Littleton.
The teen and another girl fled in the car and are considered runaways. Neither teen is of driving age.
They are believed to have left between 11 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Saturday.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
